Links to other sites on Megalithic Monuments

There are numerous megalithic monuments scattered all over the place in Western Europe: from Sweden to South Italy and from Ireland to Poland. Many of them are stone graves or burial chambers (various types of passage graves and dolmens) but others probably had a ritual or astronomical function. (stone circles, menhirs, cromlechs, alignments). They were built approximately from 4000 BC (stoneage) to 1000 BC (bronze age). Use these links for more discoveries in the past!
