Pleased to meet you! I was born and raised in Drenthe, but I lived and worked for 40 years as a PR-Officer in Utrecht, 100 miles to the south. I am retired now and went 'back to the roots'! At last I had the opportunity to rediscover Drenthe, the beautiful province of my youth. On my motorbike and armed with a camera and a notepad I made a reconnoitring expedition to all of the 54 hunebedden in Drenthe. A true tour of discovery because not all hunebedden are situated along paved roads. With this homepage I hope to have passed on some of the beauty and mystery of our megalithic momuments to you.
