| You can find this small hunebed near the hamlet of Zeijen between Assen and Norg. Lying in a pit you can't see it from the main road but it is easily accessible via a paved side road. D5 was discovered in 1833 and dug up but not completely, for the 10 side- and endstones are still partly hidden under the sand. They support all 4 capstones. The base of the original barrow is still clearly visible. There is a sign at the mainroad. |
